A body found on the Turnagain Arm mud flats near Carr-Gottstein Park in South Anchorage last week was identified by police Thursday as Robert Dushkin III.

The 27-year-old, whose body was found Saturday, was reported missing in January. Police said at the time there were concerns about Dushkin's health and that he was not from Anchorage.

"Detectives are still waiting for autopsy results to determine exact cause of death," the Anchorage Police Department said in a Thursday alert. "At this time, they do not believe it is suspicious."

Dushkin's body was found in one of the flute casts — groove-like formations on the mud flats, police have said.
