PALMER — A 59-year-old Sutton man died early Monday morning in a single-vehicle rollover on the Glenn Highway, Alaska State Troopers say.

The man was identified Monday afternoon as Wallace Roy Tingook, troopers spokesman Tim DeSpain said.

Tingook was driving north on the highway when he started to skid on a corner near Sutton, according to an online dispatch posted Monday. He overcorrected and the vehicle left the road and rolled multiple times.

The accident was reported just after 1 a.m., troopers say. A trooper arrived and found that Tingook had been ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene.

An investigation continues, troopers say.
