Letter: Less talk, more action

I am tired of hearing the governor hide behind the Legislature regarding the budget for next year. This should be a zero issue for him or the Legislature, because he has line-item veto authority. He should accept the budget as is, “approve it” and do his line-item veto to cancel everything in the submission till it looks exactly like all the cuts he came up with.

Anything else is an outright lie out of his endlessly lying mouth to date. He should quit hiding, use his constitution-stipulated authority and shut up about the House and Senate doing his job for him. He claims he was elected to lead; he should stifle himself and show us. He talks too much.
