2018 Arctic Thunder air show takes flight

A large crowd gathered at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson to enjoy the 2018 Arctic Thunder Airshow in Anchorage Saturday June 30, 2018.

The airshow continues Sunday July 1, with Air Force Thunderbirds; rock 'n' roll airshow man Will Allen; Red Bull pilot Kirby Chambliss; aviator, educator and comedian Kent Pietsch; and other world-class high-fliers.

From 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sunday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. (The Boniface and Richardson gates will be open for public entry.) visit arcticthunderopenhouse.com for details.
