Empty Bowl Project benefits Bean’s Cafe

Bean's Cafe held its annual Empty Bowl Project at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center in downtown Anchorage on Saturday. The soup feed is a fundraiser for Bean's, a food kitchen for the homeless. Attendees could buy soup or a handmade bowl and soup. The event also featured live entertainment, children's activities and silent auctions.
